Position Overview:

As a key member of our team, you will handle incoming calls and provide assistance to members regarding a variety of loan-related inquiries. Your role is essential in ensuring that calls are efficiently directed to the appropriate departments, while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage documentation for loan processing, including member funding and file organization.
2. Oversee the processing of repossession fees, refunds for MBP/GAP, and month-end reporting.
3. Address member inquiries related to loan services and troubleshoot issues effectively.
4. Utilize each member interaction as an opportunity to inform them about additional services that may be beneficial.
5. Calculate tax disbursements, adjust rates, and perform escrow analyses as required.
6. Assist with CPI reports and the procurement of supplies for the Loan Department.
7. Monitor daily loan reports and monthly summaries, processing collateral releases for loans that have been paid off.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring compliance with all organizational policies and relevant regulations, such as the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act.

Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of two to five years in financial operations, with at least two years focused on consumer loan servicing.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications, particularly credit union systems (e.g., Insight), Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required, or a combination of education and experience that meets this requirement.
Interpersonal Skills: Strong courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are crucial for this role, as it involves regular interaction with both internal and external stakeholders regarding routine matters.
