About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team at Loma Linda University Health. As a key member of our patient care delivery team, you will work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, utilizing clinical expertise, discretion, and independent judgment to perform the nursing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a solid working knowledge of specialized case and utilization management methodologies and practices.
  • Ensure medical appropriateness criteria are met for level of care provided and documented from admission through discharge.
  • Practice in a collaborative healthcare environment to oversee implementation of a well-thought-out interdisciplinary plan of care.
  • Represent nursing as an empowered profession and readily embrace new knowledge, innovations, and improvements.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required.
  • Minimum of one year of patient care experience required.
  • Minimum of two years of Hospital Case Management or Utilization Management experience preferred.
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required.
