Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Power Generation Specialist to join our team at Unified Power. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch maintenance and repair services for diesel and gas generators, as well as other power generation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to customer sites to perform scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel and gas generators
  • Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose power generation equipment issues, including problems with Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and generator controls
  • Respond to emergency maintenance calls and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
  • Complete required documentation using our company computer system and assess the urgency of all needed repairs
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

  • Must have electrical and mechanical aptitude, relating to diesel and/or natural gas engines, generators, and automatic transfer switches
  • Previous experience working with power generation equipment, such as diesel generators, gaseous generators, and other equipment from leading manufacturers like CAT, Cummins, Generac, and Kohler
  • Must be available and willing to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergency calls as needed
  • Must have a valid driver's license and provide proof of insurance eligibility
  • Basic computational skills, including the use of a laptop for receiving correspondence and service tickets, as well as proficiency using Microsoft Office products and Adobe Reader
