Engineering Manager (Direct Hire)

Summary:
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee and coordinate engineering functions to enhance product performance, meet customer needs, and support manufacturing operations at this growing facility. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Lean Tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, etc.) and lead continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide technical support to resolve productivity issues.
  • Manage tooling and equipment projects.
  • Create and maintain production documentation and Control Plans.
  • Select vendors and manage preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
  • Establish departmental goals aligned with production initiatives.
  • Support IATF-16949 and ISO-14001 initiatives and coordinate safety efforts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Manufacturing Engineers, Process Engineers, and Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or 5+ years of related experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Project Management with ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and for collaborating with different departments.
  • Experience leading and overseeing an engineering team. 
  • Experience with Continuous improvement processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices is essential.
