Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution, compliance, and enhancement of internal and external safety programs. This role will drive behavior-based safety culture to achieve accident-prevention and loss mitigation at E2 Optics customer locations.
Key Responsibilities- Safety Program Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.
- Safety Training and Awareness: Provide safety and health training, instruction, and coaching to ensure employees understand and adhere to safety protocols.
- Incident Investigation and Reporting: Conduct thorough investigations of incidents and accidents, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with field staff, leads, and supervisors to promote a safety-first culture and ensure effective communication of safety protocols.
- Education: High School Diploma required, Associate's Degree preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of occupational health and safety experience in a construction environment.
- OSHA Certification: OSHA 30 certification required.
