Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials and Stores Supervisor II to join our team at Wasco State Prison. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our canteen facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the operation of the Institution Canteens, including creating distribution logs and bag tags for use in Reception Center (RC) Canteen.
  • Review canteen timekeeping records and SOMS forms submitted by the M&SSI at Warehouse for the inmates under staff's direct supervision.
  • Preserve inventory controls and integrity, and enter all pertinent data into the Trust Receiving Accounting Canteen System (TRACS) for monthly inventories.
  • Provide security for those areas under your jurisdiction, preventing escapes and injuries to staff and inmates.
  • Inspect canteen premises for pilferage and contraband, including weapons, drugs, tobacco, and alcohol.
