We are seeking a highly skilled Materials and Stores Supervisor II to join our team at Wasco State Prison. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our canteen facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the operation of the Institution Canteens, including creating distribution logs and bag tags for use in Reception Center (RC) Canteen.
- Review canteen timekeeping records and SOMS forms submitted by the M&SSI at Warehouse for the inmates under staff's direct supervision.
- Preserve inventory controls and integrity, and enter all pertinent data into the Trust Receiving Accounting Canteen System (TRACS) for monthly inventories.
- Provide security for those areas under your jurisdiction, preventing escapes and injuries to staff and inmates.
- Inspect canteen premises for pilferage and contraband, including weapons, drugs, tobacco, and alcohol.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
