Cyber Security Compliance Specialist

About the Role:

This position is responsible for ensuring the security compliance of our customer applications. The Compliance Specialist will work closely with the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) to support the Agency Services Divisions.

The specialist will be responsible for the security compliance design, planning, implementation, and support of our customer applications. This includes adherence to Federal, State, and Industry technical security requirements.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in NIST 800-53, IRS Publication 1075, and DTMB Policy, Standards, Procedures. They will also have experience with PHI, PI, PII, and other relevant security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
  • Design and implement security compliance solutions
  • Support DTMB staff and vendor partners
  • Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical individuals

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in cyber security
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-53, IRS Publication 1075, and DTMB Policy, Standards, Procedures
  • Experience with PHI, PI, PII, and other relevant security frameworks
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
