Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate incoming vehicles for any damages or missing parts.
  • Conduct a thorough pre-delivery inspection on all vehicles, including removing protective coverings, checking fluid levels, and installing necessary components.
  • Perform exterior washing and interior cleaning, including windows.
  • Refuel vehicles before they are displayed on the lot.
  • Clean the engine compartment.
  • Apply tire dressing and clean wheels.
  • Install accessories as required.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of showroom vehicles.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe detailing area, free from debris.
  • Keep the lot organized, ensuring all parking spaces are utilized.
  • Operate all tools safely and effectively.
  • Report any vehicle damages to management promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Working Environment

  • This role is physically demanding, requiring frequent movements such as bending, lifting, reaching, and entering and exiting various vehicles throughout the shift.
  • Work may be conducted outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Movement of numerous vehicles is expected during the workday.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying of items weighing up to 50 lbs may be necessary.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through both verbal and written communication.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for identifying minor imperfections in work quality.
  • Ability to assess personal work as well as that of colleagues.
  • Work with a sense of urgency, reflecting the importance we place on customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere strictly to uniform and grooming standards.
  • This position requires a six-day work week, Monday through Saturday.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in automotive detailing is preferred.
  • A valid Texas Driver's License is required.
  • Capability to operate manual transmission vehicles is necessary.
  • Availability to work on Saturdays is essential.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work is necessary.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening.
