Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Onsite

Duration: 12+ Months contract

Work Activities:

  • Assists in Admissions: Processes patients, conducts security checks, and reviews documentation.
  • Reviews and Documents Patient Belongings: Ensures accurate and thorough documentation of patient property.
  • Responds to Emergencies: Takes appropriate action to assist in emergency situations, including Code Situations.
  • Controls Access: Verifies identity, purpose of visit, and authorization for individuals entering or exiting facilities.
  • Prepares and Maintains Records: Documents incidents, vehicle citations, visitor logs, and personal property reports.
  • Communicates with Law Enforcement: Reports incidents, provides information, and requests assistance as needed.
  • Monitors Facilities and Surroundings: Patrols facilities, monitors alarms, and utilizes security systems to identify potential security hazards.
  • Operates Vehicles and Equipment: Drives patrol and transport vehicles to complete security patrols or transport valuables and individuals.
  • Education and Experience: Equivalent to a standard high school diploma; qualifying law enforcement, security, or related experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
