Responsibilities
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers both direct and indirect patient care services that necessitate clinical proficiency within the defined scope of practice, adhering to state regulations. Collaborating with the healthcare team and under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN is responsible for ensuring patient safety, providing comfort and care, and enhancing the overall patient experience across various care units.
Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Current and valid state nursing license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
- A minimum of one year of experience in acute care nursing is preferred.
- IV certification required upon hire (state-specific)
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred or to be obtained within 60 days of hire
