Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at the Inland Empire Utilities Agency. As a key member of our Operations and Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the maintenance and repair of our water treatment and wastewater collection systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of skilled technical personnel responsible for maintenance and repair of water treatment and wastewater collection systems
  • Plan, assign, and review work to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair operations
  • Develop and implement maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance
  • Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of water treatment and wastewater collection systems
  • Proven track record of supervising and coordinating maintenance and repair activities
  • Strong technical knowledge of water treatment and wastewater collection systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid Class C California driver's license required
