CNC Machinist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team at York Employment Services, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce precision parts and components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine settings and operations.
• Load raw materials and parts into the CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and placement.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
• Document production activities, including machine settings, material usage, and inspection results.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in CNC machine operation or a related field.
• Strong understanding of CNC machine operations and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
