Job Overview

The Tax Director position at Valent North America LLC is a critical role that requires a strategic thinker with expertise in tax planning, compliance, and management. This individual will be responsible for executing the company's tax vision, establishing tax policies and procedures, and overseeing the tax operations and reporting for the SCAI region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement optimal tax strategies to minimize liability while ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws.
  • Establish and maintain tax policies and procedures across the Companies.
  • Manage statutory tax filings and financial accounting for tax-related accounts.
  • Lead the Financial Audit on all tax matters and Tax Related Accounts.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate tax, preferably with a Big 4 firm or a large multinational company.
  • Proven knowledge of complex federal and international tax concepts applicable to corporations, ASC 740 preparation, and US tax reporting for international operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage and develop tax staff.
What We Offer

This role comes with a competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year, depending on experience.
