Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Design Specialist to join our team at Riverside Community Care. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of architectural designs and construction documents for various projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist project teams in the development of aesthetic and technical designs
  • Apply advanced architectural concepts and designs independently
  • Lead the investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that meet client needs
  • Utilize computer-assisted design software to prepare project designs and plans
  • Conduct code research and ensure quality control reviews throughout project completion
  • Collaborate with designers, consultants, and staff to meet clients' goals
  • Participate in conceptual design and provide full support throughout the project
  • Carry out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced architects/architectural staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in transportation, transit, and architecture
  • Proficient with computer-assisted design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • LEED AP accreditation preferred
Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment with occasional field work required. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.
