Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator and Project Coordinator who will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates and managing awarded projects. This role requires a strong background in construction estimating and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate bidding.
  • Demonstrate expertise in estimating earthwork, demolition, and utility projects, including quantity take-offs and pricing.
  • Conduct weekly site visits to assess project progress, update schedules, and collaborate with the Project Superintendent.
  • Oversee project profitability through regular cost reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards throughout the construction process, while managing project schedules and billing.
  • Engage with clients to guarantee satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Bid 2 Win, Trimble Business Center, Plan Swift, and ViewPoint effectively.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in construction estimating is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Requirements:
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and correspondence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic mathematical calculations and data interpretation.
  • Capability to use computer systems and databases accurately.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves physical demands that may include:
