Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams of moderate to high complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams, with a focus on delivering high-quality images and exceptional patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiation safety standards and protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide education and training to Radiologic Technologist I and students, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Three years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, with a strong background in diagnostic imaging and radiation safety.
  • ARRT-R certification and state licensure or temporary licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with digital radiography and fluoroscopy techniques.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
