As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams of moderate to high complexity.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams, with a focus on delivering high-quality images and exceptional patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of radiation safety standards and protocols to ensure patient safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide education and training to Radiologic Technologist I and students, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
- Three years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure.
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA) certification.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive work environment.
