Mental Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at Gateway Health Services Inc. In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to clients in need.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or a related field, and be licensed as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), or a Pyschiatric or Osteopathic Physician. A strong background in clinical diagnosis and treatment planning is essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will work closely with our experienced team to provide comprehensive care to clients, including initial assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Your ability to establish effective working relationships with clients, staff, and community partners will be crucial to your success in this role.
**Responsibilities:**
- Apply clinical diagnostic knowledge and principles to evaluate clients' conditions and urgent needs
- Ensure each client has an initial service plan addressing their immediate health, safety, and preliminary service requirements
- Provide counseling to individuals diagnosed with mental health conditions
- Develop a Treatment Plan following a comprehensive assessment, which can be modified until services are concluded
- Record weekly progress notes or after each treatment service in the client's file, ensuring they reference the individual treatment plan
- Complete a discharge summary within five days after the client's services are terminated
- Actively contribute to mental health services by offering leadership, sharing clinical expertise with team members, and enhancing the reputation of the services provided
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or a related field
- Licensed as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), or a Psychiatrist or Osteopathic Physician
- Strong background in clinical diagnosis and treatment planning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A willingness and ability to work with clients receiving intensive residential treatment services (IRTS)
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Department of Human Services requirements, policies and procedures for IRTS and 245I statues
