At Addiction and Mental Health Services, LLC, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at our Warrior campus in Alabama. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome substance abuse and achieve long-term recovery.

About the Job:

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits. The successful candidate will assist patients with daily activities, monitor their progress, and provide emotional support to ensure a smooth and successful treatment process.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with medication administration, meal times, and activity participation.
  • Monitor patient locations, document hourly checks, and facilitate Book Studies and Recovery meetings.
  • Supervise patient activities, ensure adherence to the Bradford Program Schedule, and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Assist nurses as directed, drive patients to appointments, and purchase sundries and miscellaneous items.
  • Maintain accurate records, adhere to policies and procedures, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • A High School Diploma; B.S. in Behavioral Sciences preferred.
  • The ability to walk one mile per eight-hour shift, sit for three hours, and stand continuously for 45 minutes to one hour.
  • CPR certification (training provided on-site).
  • Emotional and physical stamina to function under stressful situations.
