Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of vehicles, including buses and vans, to transport passengers within our Service Delivery Area.
- Assist passengers with disabilities, ensuring their safe and comfortable transportation.
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle, adhering to strict safety and maintenance standards.
- Monitor and manage passenger movements using our transportation software.
- Collect fares and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and Tribal policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Pass required background checks and maintain a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a transportation or logistics role, preferably in a Native American community.
- Knowledge of Tribal laws and regulations, as well as federal and state transportation guidelines.
