Job Title: Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) to join our team at Hope Visions Corporation in Norfolk, VA.

About the Role:

The QDDP will be responsible for assessing individuals with developmental disabilities, developing and approving service plans, monitoring services, and advocating for individuals. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of documented experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and a bachelor's degree in a human services field.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess individuals with developmental disabilities to identify their needs and develop individualized service plans.
  • Develop, conduct, and approve individual service plans and treatment plans to ensure individuals receive appropriate services.
  • Monitor services provided, including observing and evaluating staff interactions with individuals.
  • Plan, coordinate, and integrate the treatment process to help individuals move toward independence.
  • Act as an advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Requirements:
  • At least one year of paid full-time experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field, such as social work, sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work professionally with others.
  • Valid driver's license, pass a background check, and be proficient with technology.
Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25.00/hour and a range of benefits, including free early access to pay through Homebase.
