About the Role

Stop & Shop is seeking a highly skilled Part Time Closer to join our management team. As a Part Time Closer, you will play a critical role in championing and supporting the culture and values of Stop & Shop, while delivering a streamlined and personalized shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement high standards of food safety and sanitation in all areas of the store, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Stop & Shop policies and procedures.
  • Minimize store expenses through efficient use of supplies, proper use and maintenance of equipment, and identifying cost-cutting opportunities.
  • Maintain the company sign program, merchandise weekly distributions, and seasonal product and order shelf stock and sale items.
  • Ensure the on-going maintenance and organization of the grocery backroom to promote proper product rotation and associate productivity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required, some college preferred.
  • 2-4 years of previous grocery retail management experience preferred.
  • Special skills in interpersonal, decision-making, delegation, leadership, and conflict management.
