Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Formulate and implement a strategic vision for the fashion watches category, catering to diverse cruise line profiles.
  • Establish merchandising and presentation standards that align with the overall business strategy.
  • Identify, develop, and negotiate with vendors to secure favorable terms and exclusive agreements.
  • Set and monitor annual and seasonal performance objectives, adjusting strategies as necessary.

Assortment Development

  • Create product assortments that resonate with the strategic merchandising vision and meet the needs of each cruise line.
  • Manage assortment mix to ensure a balance of key items and unique offerings.
  • Develop pricing strategies that communicate value and savings effectively to consumers.
  • Oversee assortment planning to ensure appropriate product breadth and depth based on customer profiles.

Financial Oversight

  • Collaborate closely with planning partners to establish sales and inventory plans.
  • Regularly analyze business performance, focusing on key classifications and items.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely markdowns and clean inventory processes.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies that provide advantages in the marketplace.

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in merchandise management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
