We are currently looking for a full-time Lead Municipal Infrastructure Engineer. Our organization collaborates with local municipalities on a diverse array of civil, municipal, and environmental initiatives. We seek a licensed Professional Engineer who will engage with CAD Technicians, Construction Observers, Land Survey Chiefs, and office personnel in various roles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop detailed technical engineering documentation.
  • Create or revise plans, specifications, construction timelines, permits, and cost estimates for public works initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Construction Observers/Resident Technicians throughout all stages of construction.
  • Support the Project Manager in ensuring project completion within budget and on schedule.
  • Engage with clients, including participation in board or council meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering design is preferred.
  • Iowa PE license or the ability to secure one within a year is preferred.
  • Experience in roadway, storm sewer, sanitary collection systems, and water distribution design is desired.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
