Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational and merchandise standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer service areas.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including ringing sales, handling returns, and counting change.
  • Support and promote credit and loyalty programs to customers.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store.
  • Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
  • Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work with diverse customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.

This position has a starting pay range of $12.00 to $12.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
