Pediatric Physical Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our multidisciplinary team at SportsCare Physical Therapy in New Jersey.

This is a full-time position responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs for children with various conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluating pediatric patients to determine physical therapy needs.
  • Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
  • Utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities to improve patients' physical abilities and overall function.
  • Educating patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and strategies to promote recovery and development.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist.
  • Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric developmental stages and conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compensation Package:
  • $95,000 per year salary range, depending on experience.
