Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow departmental policies, service protocols, and established standards.
  • Maintain awareness of dress code requirements.
  • Stay knowledgeable about beverage options, including liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic choices, glassware, and banquet offerings.
  • Adhere to state liquor regulations and operate equipment properly.
  • Execute opening and closing tasks, including the setup and breakdown of event spaces.
  • Serve all food courses and beverages, including wine and champagne, in accordance with established standards.
  • Anticipate guest needs and foster positive guest interactions.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of service areas.
  • Complete all assigned reports and maintain a friendly, helpful demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Banquet Server is preferred. Must be capable of carrying food trays weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, speed, accuracy, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Capacity to work collaboratively within a team and uphold confidentiality. Proficient in understanding and fulfilling guests' service needs. Ability to suggestively sell menu items, beverages, and wines. Physical stamina to transport food and beverages and perform physical tasks throughout the work areas.
