Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Designer to join our team at Jobot. As a Fire Protection Designer, you will be responsible for designing fire protection sprinkler systems with accuracy and detail to ensure successful field installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review work orders and procedural manuals to determine critical design dimensions.
  • Design fire protection sprinkler systems within allocated hours for each job.
  • Calculate figures to convert design dimensions to resizing dimensions for production, layout, and installation processes.
  • Submit design plans to leadership for approval and obtain necessary permits.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design staff to determine design modifications and enter editing information into computer systems.
  • Produce graphic representations of designs for review and approval by engineering and design staff.
  • Make final sketches of proposed drawings, checking dimensions and materials.
  • Revise designs to create practical and effective drawings.
