Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft
  • Fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts
  • Perform minor structural repairs on composite components
  • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures
  • Assist with complex structural repairs
  • Remove and install aircraft components as required
  • Comply with environmental health and safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in 5-S activities
  • Perform work in a safe and timely manner
  • Document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations
Requirements:
  • Training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or equivalent schooling
  • At least 4 years of corporate aircraft structural sheet metal repair/modification experience
  • Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
  • Effective communication skills in written and verbal form
  • Basic set of hand tools and ability to demonstrate inventory and control
  • Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime and in seasonal/inclement weather
  • A Certification, A&P Certificate, or Repairman Certificate (preferred)
