Key Responsibilities
  • Provide In-Depth Knowledge and Guidance: Share expertise on enrollment processes, educational programs, and college policies to support student success.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Respond to student inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess Student Needs and Provide Resources: Screen and assess individual student needs to determine appropriate resources and services.
  • Support Student Success: Provide guidance on the federal financial aid application process, eligibility, and award status, as well as general academic advising.
  • Collaborate with College Departments: Work interdepartmentally to efficiently meet student needs and provide referrals to other college departments as necessary.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of student engagements and maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years' experience in clerical work, including customer service experience.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse populations, and proficiency in the general operation of standard office equipment.
