Customer Service Representative

U-Haul is seeking a friendly and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.
Responsibilities:- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing solutions to their needs and concerns.
- Use U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
- Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, maintaining a high level of quality and cleanliness.
- Answer customer questions and educate them on U-Haul products and services, building trust and loyalty.
- Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Install hitches and trailer wiring, ensuring safe and secure connections.
- Fulfill propane and drive a forklift, requiring certification and training.
- Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts or machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.
The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
