Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

Flex-N-Gate Corporation is a leading manufacturer and supplier of components for the automotive industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the plant, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of accounting records, internal controls, and budgeting. This role will provide support and analysis to assist the Plant Controller in making business decisions consistent with corporate goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the activities of the accounting department to ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports.
  • Manage the disbursement department to ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, and core employee expense reports.
  • Oversee the accounts receivable department to ensure accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies, including Federal, State/Provincial, Municipal/Local income, payroll, and property taxes.
  • Establish and maintain systems and controls to verify the integrity of all systems, processes, and data.
  • Respond to the Plant Controller as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate financial needs.
  • Participate in special projects and compile special reports.
  • Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions.
  • Manage the accuracy and reporting of the perpetual inventory system.
  • Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of progressive responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize tasks.
  • Highly motivated, service-oriented individual with attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Good internal customer service and presentation skills.
Working Conditions
  • Physical ability to lift 25lbs.
  • Travel as necessary.
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Overtime as required.
