Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of process technicians to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to review and organize engineering process modifications and projects.
- Monitor and analyze plant quality and production results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of budgeted area cost drivers, both fixed and variable, and work to reduce excess consumption and costs.
- Communicate effectively with the Quality Manager, Logistics Manager, Maintenance Manager, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Generate a daily plan outlining operational goals and objectives, and communicate this to the team.
- Participate in safety-related activities, including daily safety meetings and safety committee meetings.
- Develop and implement a tracking tool to monitor and reduce costs.
- 5+ years of technical and/or plant experience.
- Experience leading successful teams with an emphasis on organizational development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite and Process Data Historian tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to build good relationships with internal peers and external support groups.
- Broad-based technical skills and the ability to implement goals and objectives through effective planning and organizing.
