Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Class Scheduling and Management
    • Coordinate and schedule group fitness classes, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing cancellations.
    • Manage class tracking numbers and report monthly to the management team.
  • Communication and Customer Service
    • Respond to member inquiries and concerns regarding group fitness classes and programs.
    • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for our members.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Submit payroll information to the general manager in accordance with the club's payroll schedule.
    • Manage quarterly schedule changes and updates to the website.
    • Facilitate the implementation of new programming and initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration and Training
    • Work closely with the group fitness training manager to ensure effective communication and coordination.
    • Provide training and education to club staff on proper procedures and policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Submit holiday schedule changes to the group fitness training manager and distribute copies to clubs.
    • Monitor and analyze class attendance and participation to inform programming decisions.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Nationally accredited group fitness certification (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred).
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in group fitness management or a related field.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
