Position Overview:
The Warehouse and Logistics Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing both operational and strategic functions within a specific area, leading teams of six or more while emphasizing performance management, talent growth, and an inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the flow of raw materials and finished products, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with customer and manufacturing requirements.
  • Drive the execution and enhancement of logistics processes, including replenishment systems, data interchange, demand management, and electronic data systems.
  • Achieve customer service and time objectives while adhering to financial constraints to meet organizational goals.
  • Foster relationships with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers by effectively resolving delivery challenges.
  • Utilize market intelligence from various entities to continuously enhance competitive positioning.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of applicable experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, and related operational roles within the medical device or pharmaceutical sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP, WMS, and TMS systems, with implementation experience being a plus.
  • Experience in selecting and managing third-party logistics providers.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data, along with inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
  • Familiarity with global distribution network operations.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to develop teams through coaching and mentoring.
  • Capacity to cultivate a performance-driven culture utilizing KPIs for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in developing procedures, training materials, and safety/compliance documentation.
