The IT Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing administrative systems by delivering technical support, training, and guidance to various departments and end-users. This position also encompasses system administration, configuration, and programming responsibilities.
The primary focus of the IT Systems Analyst is to facilitate North Park's utilization of Microsoft 365, reporting directly to the Director of Enterprise Applications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide technical and functional administration for Microsoft 365 (M365) applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Bookings, and Power Apps.
2. Stay updated on M365 roadmaps and forthcoming changes, effectively communicating these updates with IT and relevant personnel, and coordinating their implementation.
3. Implement and manage M365 applications utilized for single sign-on (SSO) and other integrations.
4. Collaborate as a member of the IT security operations (SECOPS) team, which includes the IT Security Analyst, CIO, and Deputy CIO.
5. Assist in managing North Park's SSL certificates, ensuring timely renewals and upgrades.
6. Support the administration of on-premises servers and information infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant analytical field, preferably in IT, Business Analytics, or a related discipline.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and productively from a remote location as required.
- Familiarity with M365 and Azure Active Directory.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated with a capacity for independent learning, with or without formal training.
- Demonstrated interest and aptitude in information systems design and programming/scripting, particularly with PowerShell.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capability to follow verbal and written instructions and work with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular hours to ensure the availability of critical systems.
- High-speed internet connectivity at home.
