Key Responsibilities

Service Support: Act as a backup for Service Technicians, covering for absences and providing additional support as necessary. Temporarily fill in on routes awaiting assignment to a regular Technician.

Pest Management: Conduct inspections to identify the source of pest activity. Provide services for residential and commercial customers, including exterior sealing to prevent rodent and wildlife entry. Perform inspections for Wood Destroying Organisms and execute treatments for Dry Wood and Subterranean Termites, fungi, and beetles. Install and maintain termite control systems for clients.

Minor Construction and Repair: Engage in light construction projects such as patios, doors, eaves, walls, and floors. Assist Repair Technicians with wood damage replacement.

Continuous Learning: Gain knowledge of the range of available Terminix products and services. Stay updated on the latest industry developments, trends, technologies, and regulations. Participate in employer-sponsored training on new methods, products, and services offered by Terminix. Obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications as required by federal, state, and local regulations, funded by Terminix.

Position Requirements
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment background screening.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and undergo a motor vehicle driving record check.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday and Saturdays during peak demand periods.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Customer-facing experience is preferred.
Other Skills, Attributes, and Abilities
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to safely operate basic hand and power tools.
  • Comfortable working at heights (e.g., climbing a ladder up to 20 feet).
  • Capable of lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs.
  • Willingness to learn and become knowledgeable about Terminix products and services.
  • Comfortable with self-directed work conditions after a training period.
