We are in search of a proactive leader with a proven track record in the media and advertising sector to join our team as a Regional Media Executive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all facets of market operations with a strong emphasis on revenue generation across Townsquare's diverse media and entertainment platforms.
  • Develop a clear vision and strategy for sustained revenue and profit growth, with the capability to communicate and implement the plan effectively.
  • Support the content team (both on-air and online) while ensuring accountability in executing the brand strategy and delivering exceptional content.
  • Recruit, train, and nurture top-tier sales talent.
  • Lead the sales team to surpass revenue objectives by formulating a robust sales strategy and ensuring accountability for individual performance.
  • Ensure compliance with the station's licensing requirements and adherence to Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and other relevant regulations.
  • Drive growth in key accounts through the promotion of results-oriented, integrated programs while also focusing on significant new business development.
  • Prepare and oversee the fiscal budget.
  • Establish and implement strategic goals to exceed local advertising, live events, and digital services budgets.
  • Represent Townsquare Media to key client accounts and within the community, fostering strong client relationships and community partnerships that enhance our business.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of sales management experience in the media or advertising industry.
  • Experience with digital advertising is essential; radio/broadcast experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding budgets and outperforming competitors.
  • Proven ability to recruit, lead, motivate, and coach team members to achieve revenue goals.
  • Strong understanding of local media or broadcast, along with digital advertising solutions.
  • A positive and encouraging management style that emphasizes leading by example—this is not a position for someone who prefers to manage from behind a desk.
  • Experience in developing multi-media advertising campaigns.
