Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at DCX-CHOL Enterprises, Inc. This role will be responsible for evaluating and improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document process methods and work instructions
  • Train and coach manufacturing personnel on new processes and procedures
  • Lead the identification and resolution of manufacturing flow interruptions
  • Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining quality standards
  • Plan and conduct experimental trials to eliminate production scrap
  • Coordinate new project releases into manufacturing and collaborate with internal departments
  • Work with purchasing team and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Transform batch and queue processes to one-piece continuous flow lines and balance operations to Takt Time
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical degree
  • 3-5 years of engineering experience in a military, aerospace, or medical business environment
  • Experience with evaluating and implementing new manufacturing processes in an AS9100/ISO9001 environment
  • Strong computer skills using Solidworks, AutoCAD, Visio, and business applications
  • Ability to direct or create CAD models and read engineering and electromechanical drawings
  • Familiarity with military specifications and standards
  • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodology and Lean Manufacturing concepts
