Job Summary

The Alpharetta Northpoint Site Supervisor is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in promoting a culture of service excellence while supervising a team of employees and performing Community Management responsibilities for the site. This includes overseeing the operations, sets, and movement of the overall logistics of their assigned space/floor for office/desk and meeting spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and coach a team of Community Management professionals.
• Host weekly one-on-one meetings and in-house operational meetings with the team and perform annual evaluations for all employees.
• Use strategic thinking and operational expertise to provide enhancements to the office setting and create relationships with clients to assist with problem-solving and issue resolution.
• Become an expert in Verizon protocols, office technology, and internal processes and hold the team accountable for these expectations.
• Manage the in-house schedule for the Alpharetta NP team and communicate weekly with the Regional Manager.
• Work with the Regional Manager and virtual Peer Training team to assist with hiring, training, and onboarding all new hires for this location.
• Provide necessary documentation and communication for progressive discipline, as needed.
• Maintain and review guest comment scores to achieve set goals.
• Maintain and manage oversight and follow-up of team tasks, including inventory management, managing equipment issues, service calls, meeting and event support expectations.
• Daily professional interaction with the team, Regional Manager, Virtual Planners, AV, Yield Analyst, Experience Manager, GM, and vendor partners.
• Daily interaction with all Verizon associates and their partners.
• Ensure all space is clean, operational, and report any and all defects throughout the day.
• Plans non-complex client events when assigned or appropriate; partner with Event Support on direction. Provide assistance to clients for catering, attendance, and AV instruction, as needed.
• Travel to assigned locations as appropriately outlined with the leadership team.

Requirements

• Three years' experience in the hospitality industry with at least two years of that experience associated with hotels, conference centers, meeting venues, or corporate office concierge services.
• Minimum of two years' experience in supervising a team, including experience with employee evaluations and service recovery expertise.
• Experience with event operations and planning experience preferred.
• Experience with Audio Visual equipment preferred.
• Excellent computer software knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, to all other departments, and interdepartmentally.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
