Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance department at Hebron Brick Supply, Co. in Hebron, North Dakota.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial plant equipment, overseeing maintenance activities, and managing a team of maintenance workers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect sites regularly to identify problems and necessary maintenance.
  • Perform general maintenance duties, including repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work to team members.
  • Employ, supervise, and train maintenance workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Coordinate daily maintenance activities, including responding to emergencies and resolving issues promptly.
  • Oversee all repairs and ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Maintain all inventory and equipment, and ensure proper storage and organization.
  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and practices on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance work, including routine inspections and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct follow-ups on all maintenance and repair work to ensure that it meets the required standards.
  • Establish strategies to meet workload demands on time, ensuring that maintenance activities are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive knowledge of industrial plant equipment and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
  • Ability to plan maintenance schedules and allocate work to team members.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance workers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to create and manage schedules, reports, and other documents.
