Job Description

At ASM Research, we are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team of Cloud Engineers and Operations Management technicians. The successful candidate will provide integration and operational support for production and lower environment cloud and web-based applications, working with JBoss, MQ, Apache, VMWare, F5 Load balancer, and other network and cloud components.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Incident Management, Triage, and Troubleshooting of incidents, using ServiceNow to coordinate internal efforts across teams.
Work with Cloud Engineers to improve ongoing technical operations and maintenance activities of the cloud environments.
Rotate on-call shifts and provide normal business hour support.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
Associate level cloud certification in AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud.
6+ years of IT experience, with a combination of:
- 3-4 years of cloud engineering experience, working with one or more vendor platforms.
- 4+ years of experience debugging Microsoft Windows or Linux-based operating systems in an administrative/support/engineering capacity.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional level certification.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical issues.
Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.
