About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinic Specialty RN-Oncology-Medical Center to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and advocating for the needs of your patients.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as a content expert and clinical resource by providing staff and patient education.
  • Collaborates with other health care providers and/or community services, as appropriate.
  • Improves nurse satisfaction by serving as a role model and mentor, facilitating teamwork with RNs, non-licensed and interprofessional staff.
  • Independently obtains detailed health histories and assesses patient and associated needs, develops, and implements intervention plans, and evaluates response on a selected patient population.
  • Advocates on patient/family's behalf to identify and resolve clinical and ethical concerns.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Five years of nursing experience with two years in specialty.
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Texas State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure within 60 days.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA).
  • Other credentials and certifications as defined by department/service line.
Salary Information

This position offers a competitive salary of approximately $93,400 annually, based on industry standards and regional data.
