Job Title: Small Engine Technician - E&H Ace Hardware

We are seeking a skilled Small Engine Technician to join our team at E&H Ace Hardware Group. As a Small Engine Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing expert repair and maintenance services for our customers' outdoor power equipment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Diagnose and repair a variety of outdoor power equipment, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and leaf blowers.
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  3. Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, addressing customer inquiries and explaining repair processes and recommendations clearly.
  4. Utilize technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently and accurately.
  5. Identify the need for replacement parts and order them promptly to complete repairs in a timely manner.
  6. Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing repairs and maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Technical proficiency in diagnosing and repairing outdoor power equipment.
  • Previous experience as an outdoor power equipment technician or a related field is preferred.
  • Must complete Stihl iCademy Silver Certification within one year of hire date.
  • Customer focus, attention to detail, adaptability, and physical stamina are essential for this role.
