Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team at Deacon's New South in downtown Nashville, TN. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen functions, including food purchasing, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards.

About the Role

This is a leadership opportunity for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at A Marshall Hospitality in Nashville, TN. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of talented chefs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and preparing ingredients for menu items
  • Maintaining quality standards in the kitchen
  • Training and developing employees to achieve their full potential
  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in varied kitchen positions
  • At least 1 year experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests
