Executive Chef for Deacon's New South

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to lead our kitchen team at Deacon's New South in downtown Nashville, TN. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen functions, including food purchasing, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards.
About the RoleThis is a leadership opportunity for a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at A Marshall Hospitality in Nashville, TN. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high-quality standards, and leading a team of talented chefs.
Key Responsibilities- Purchasing and preparing ingredients for menu items
- Maintaining quality standards in the kitchen
- Training and developing employees to achieve their full potential
- Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience in varied kitchen positions
- At least 1 year experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position
- 21 years of age or older
- Able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel, and guests
- Semi-annual bonus opportunity based on base salary
- Two weeks paid vacation per fiscal year
- Annual Incentive Trip
- Eligibility to participate in employee health benefits program
- 50% discount for food and non-alcoholic beverages at Deacon's and affiliated restaurants
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
