Warehouse Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Capstone Logistics. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of warehouse associates to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity in the warehouse.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and recorded.
  • Coordinate and manage the receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
  • Ensure that all warehouse operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Manage and control budgets, ensuring that expenses are minimized and costs are optimized.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Proven track record of improving efficiency and productivity in a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
