GXO Logistics is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team in Lebanon, IN. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials through our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Handling: Load and unload materials using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including packaging, routing, and systems work.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in and guide team members in the implementation of Lean warehousing systems and processes.
  • Quality and Safety: Complete tasks by following established procedures and ensure all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Communication: Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment, with a focus on material handling and inventory management.
  • Skills: Experience operating material handling equipment and using handheld scanners, as well as basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Schedule: Availability to work a flexible schedule with possible overtime when needed.
  • Technology: Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally.
  • Mobility: Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
  • Vision: Ability to adjust focus and demonstrate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Environment: Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
