About the Role

We are a nationwide, full-service public accounting firm seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day and month-end close accounting activities, as well as serving as a business partner and advisor for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Manage multiple client portfolios, requiring in-depth communication with internal and external teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Prepare and review ad-hoc business reports and financial statements, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to clients.
  • Review and prepare account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements, providing clear and concise explanations of financial data.
  • Prepare and review recurring and ongoing posting of journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide support to outside auditors, tax preparers, and legal teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting, with a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in public accounting, including GAAP and accrual-based accounting principles.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online and other accounting software, with a strong understanding of their functionality and applications.
