About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - Augusta. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care to patients, including bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and perform services in a timely manner to enhance patient well-being.
  • Participate in hourly rounds to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed, assisting transporters with patient movement.
  • Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment, as well as patient rooms.
  • Manage unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience (3+ years).
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as medical assisting or actively enrolled nursing student.
