Pediatric Transfusion Medicine Specialist

Children's Hospital Los Angeles is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transfusion Medicine team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the medical management of therapeutic apheresis patients. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Perform critical therapeutic apheresis procedures, including red cell exchange, plasma exchange, and photopheresis
- Collect cellular therapy samples for inpatients and outpatients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient treatments and outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- One year of RN experience required
- Previous apheresis experience preferred
- California Registered Nurse License and American Heart Association CPR/PALS certification required
Children's Hospital Los Angeles offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $99,424.00-$171,506.00, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits program, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
